Work to restore the historic passenger footbridge at Chepstow train station is progressing well, Network Rail has said.
A temporary footbridge has now been installed after the original footbridge was removed for extensive repairs last weekend.
While off site, the footbridge will undergo structural strengthening work and full refurbishment. Not only will this extend the life of the footbridge, it will also make the station more welcoming to local residents and visitors to the area.
The refurbished footbridge is due to be reinstalled later this spring.
