Local farmers will have an opportunity to quiz prospective parliamentary candidates on their party's rural and agricultural policies at a hustings in Tregare.
The event at Llwyn y Gaer Farm starts at 6:00pm on Monday 22 May.
Monmouthshire NFU Cymru chairman, Ian Williams, who will chair the meeting, said: “During what will be a critical two years for the industry, it is vital that all prospective candidates understand the key asks from grassroots farmers and have farming’s best interests at heart.
"This event will allow the prospective candidates to set out their stall and justify why they are the best candidate for Monmouthshire.
“I hope to see a good turnout, so please encourage your friends and neighbours to come along. This meeting will give our members the opportunity to question Monmouthshire candidates on the agricultural and rural issues that matter to them."
