Monmouth MP David Davies has been re-elected to serve a second term as chair of the Welsh Affairs Committee.
Mr Davies was the sole candidate nominated for the post. Twenty cross-party MPs backed his bid.
Nominations for all House of Commons select committee chairs closed at 5pm on Wednesday 10 June, with the full list of results announced today (Thursday 18 June).
"I am honoured and delighted to have been asked to serve once again as chair of the Welsh Affairs Committee," said Mr Davies.
"During the last Parliament, the previous committee worked together to scrutinise controversial subjects across party divides and I very much hope this approach will continue.
"These are important times for Wales and the UK. The scrutiny of the government's legislative proposals for devolving further powers to Wales will form an early part of our work.
"I look forward to discussing the committee's full programme of activities with the other members as soon as they are appointed."
The remaining members of the committee will be nominated by the House in the coming weeks.
