Commenting on today’s ruling by the Supreme Court that Parliament must vote on whether the government can start Brexit, Monmouth MP David Davies said: “Many Brexit supporters, myself included, will be disappointed by this ruling.
“But so will those Remain campaigners who wanted to use the Scottish Parliament and Welsh and Northern Ireland assemblies as a tool to stop Brexit from happening.
“Both sides will have to live with the judgement and I look forward to a vote in Parliament, which I suspect will happen imminently. Clearly, I will be backing Theresa May.”
